Wire drawing bronzing paper is generally used for PVC, ABS, PS, as, sub afterburner (PMMA) and other hard plastic materials. It is generally used for audio shell, DVD panel, water dispenser, refrigerator, air conditioner, TV frame, photo frame, electric vehicle label and so on.
First layer: PTE film layer
Generally 12 μ m—25 μ M-thick biaxially stretched polyester film is mainly used to support each coating attached to it, which is convenient for continuous hot stamping during processing. It has the properties of tensile resistance and instantaneous high temperature resistance.
Second layer: detachment layer
It is generally coated with silicone resin. The main function is to enable the pigment, aluminum and adhesive layer to quickly separate from the polyester film and be transferred and bonded to the surface of the hot stamping object after hot stamping. The release layer shall have good peeling performance, otherwise the images and texts of hot stamping will be blurred and exposed, which will affect the product quality of hot stamping.
Layer 3: color layer
The main components are film-forming, heat resistance, transparency, suitable synthetic resin and dye. Commonly used resins include polyurethane nitrocellulose, melamine formaldehyde resin, modified rosin resin, etc. During production, the resin and dye are dissolved in organic solvent to form a color paste, and then coated and dried. There are two main functions: one is to display color; The second is to protect the aluminized picture and text printed on the surface of articles from oxidation. The colors of electrochemical aluminum foil include gold, orange, gray, red, blue, green and so on. The color of the color layer is given luster after passing through the aluminized layer, and the color changes to a certain extent, such as yellow becomes gold after plating and drilling, gray becomes silver after aluminizing, etc. The coating requirement for the color layer is fine without any small particles, so as to avoid trachoma and uniform coating.
Fourth layer: aluminized layer
The film coated with pigment is placed in the vacuum chamber in the vacuum continuous aluminizing machine. Under a certain vacuum degree, the aluminum wire is melted and continuously evaporated to the color layer of the film through resistance heating to form the aluminizing layer. The main function of the aluminized layer is to reflect light, change the color of the color layer and make it appear metallic luster.
Fifth layer: glue layer
Generally, it is a fusible thermoplastic resin. According to the different materials to be hot stamping, different resins can be selected. The resin can be dissolved in organic solvent or prepared into aqueous solution, coated on the aluminum layer by coater and dried to form a glue layer. Its main function is to bond the hot stamping material to the hot stamping body. During hot stamping, one of the main reasons for the phenomenon of poor hot stamping is that the glue layer is not matched, the objects of hot stamping are different, and the models of electrochemical aluminum foil should be different.
